... Mom, you are ruining my show!
Because I had the ABSOLUTE GALL to sing along with the Disney movie she was watching while I swiffered the playroom.
And I had another moment of clarity in which I realized that I am indeed becoming my mother. I'm fairly certain we had this same exact conversation at some (or several) points in my childhood.

So, you can't sing either! Welcome to my world, Amanda. Your mother
ReplyDeleteIt happened again! I was singing "On Top of Spaghetti" to Kate at dinnertime (we had spaghetti with meatballs) and she said, "No song, Mom! No song!" How discouraging! I'll have to keep my day job... oh wait...
ReplyDeleteI love hearing you girls say "I am becoming my Mother"! So cute!
ReplyDeleteThe little girls are darling. I love hearing their comments!
Their Aunt Ann
Well gosh. The whole family is leaving comments. Are we becoming our mothers? I'm fairly sure Aunt Ann would say no because if so..she'd have grandchildren by now. And, by the way, I can't sing either. Hmmmmm....
